Have we ever said how much we love doing weddings that come to us via referrals!?  Our stunning bride, Amy, is our friend Stephanie's sister.  It is always so enjoyable getting to see friends, past clients, etc. at a wedding.  The relationships we form and moments we are allowed to capture, truly make this an incredible profession.  Now on to the stars of the show!

Amy and Justin were married on a beautiful July Saturday at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, just outside of Chaska.  The day could not have been nicer for an outdoor wedding.  Poor Amy, torn her ACL  just days before the wedding and had to wear a knee brace for the day, but that didn't slow her down at all!   Amy and Justin wanted to combine certain elements of a traditional wedding yet put their own unique twist on it.  From the hand-made jewelry, to the different color dresses for the ladies and differing colored ties for the men, they did a great job stamping the day with their own personalities.  Plus, in lieu of a first dance, they pre-recorded their own special moment, which was part MTV video, part sports event, and definitely ALL Amy and Justin!  The guests loved it (to see it, click on the LINK)!  As it turns out, recording their "first dance" prior to their wedding day (and ACL debacle) was certainly a blessing in disguise!  The Arboretum was a gorgeous location for their ceremony and really allowed the bright colors they incorporated to come to life.
