Maria and Lonnie had a fun wedding that was sure to please anyone with a sweet tooth! Not only that, but the day came complete with a little sun, rain, and plenty of fun to go around. The entire event took place at Hazeltine National Golf Club, site of the upcoming 2009 PGA Championship. Maria, had the main room strung with linens and tulle. One of the things that I really liked was the sand ceremony that they did. Instead of a unity candle, they opted to combine sands, but it wasn't just two sands. They wanted different colors of sand to represent various people and things in their life. Plus they also left a rock on each chair that they asked to be blessed and it was going to be part of a rock garden. All very nice and unique touches that made their ceremony more personal.
The ceremoney took place towards the evening (luckily indoors, as it started to rain while the ceremony was taken place). However; the rain also blessed the lucky couple with a beautiful rainbow (we hope you guys have found your pot of gold in each other :). From there on, the night kicked off with food (including a very tasty dessert table), song, and dance!
Here are a few of the highlights, and we wish you both the best of luck, and thank you so much for having us capture your special day!
